The sun may have been shining but I didn’t see much of it as I was busy visiting lots of schools! I had a fantastic few months working with twenty schools. From Fleetwood to Rawtenstall, Blackpool to Barnoldswick, Kirkby Lonsdale to Darwen and Barrow to Swinton – I had an absolute blast! I even managed to squeeze in a couple of days of ‘virtuals’ to share stories with schools in Carlisle.
The summer holidays have been busy with library events. It has been great to work with children across Lancashire, Blackpool, Wigan and St Helens libraries. Massive thanks to each of the library services for inviting me along, it was so good to be back taking part in public events.
