Eric Appleby returned in 2018 for the final instalment in his adventure trilogy. Eric had already been tasked with saving his school and his dad, but things escalated to an all-new level. The future of the planet was in his young hands!
Eric grew and blossomed from the lonely schoolboy in Zero to Hero, back in 2015, to a fully-fledged action hero three years later. Eric will always hold a special place in my heart and, who knows, one day he might return to save the day once again.
It was a joy and a privilege to work with the mega talented illustrator Martin Spore. To see Eric’s adventures come to life through Martin’s incredible illustrations was an experience that will live with me forever. The rest of the members of ‘Team Eric’ pitched in to make the books happen – a task I couldn’t have achieved alone. Big thanks, Team Eric!
