As a headteacher, booking an INSET is always so stressful. Teachers’ time is so very precious, and you know that the input has to make a real impact. Immediately. So, thank you Dan, you certainly delivered on that front!
You were able to capture the interest of my youngest and my most experienced staff. Everyone went away with a far clearer picture of how to teach writing, and a real understanding about how the process could work for every child, whatever their ability. It was rooted in everyday practice, and I know that their teaching will most certainly be stronger as a result.
