It’s always one of the highlights of the year when I visit my local libraries to share some stories.
Six library visits took place across two weeks in August. These gigs are always important because I usually take some time off from performing in the summer, so they are great to get back into the swing of things! The first week saw visits to Thornton, Moor Park and Fleetwood with week two taking in Layton, Poulton and Palatine.
Each event was really busy and it was a joy to put on the waistcoat and perform a selection of the Tales. I think I covered eight stories – some new and others old favourites – over the two weeks. My brain was tired at the end!
Hot-shot snot proved popular….
Incedible audience numbers and wonderful reactions….
I’d like to thank the library staff for organising and promoting the events. I had a wonderful time and I’m already looking forward to visiting again in 2019.
