Two more author assemblies brought down the curtain on a busy November.
First up was a visit to Thames Primary Academy, Blackpool. It had been a few months since I’d visited with More Impossible Tales, so it was lovely to return with the new book. The pupils were ace and you could have heard a pin drop as I explained how Eric’s new story came to life. They saw the illustrations from the early stages and even heard one of the Tales which featured a crime-fighting wig. Phew – what a fantastic, fast-paced 40 minutes!
The final November assembly was at St Kentigern’s Catholic Primary, Blackpool. This was my fourth visit to the school and it’s always great to return. The school has been with me from the start of my writing adventure and it’s a smashing place. The Tale I shared went down really well, which made me very happy.
Two ace visits and I’d like to thank Miss Hastings and Mrs Wygladala for organising the sessions and the accompanying book signings.
