When I started out on my writing adventure three years ago, I never imagined that one day I’d be sitting in front of TV cameras talking about reading, writing and chasing dreams. That’s exactly what happened at the studios of That’s Lancashire TV after I happily accepted their invitation to go along to do an interview.
I was really nervous during the drive to the studio in Preston, but the fantastic staff put me at ease after a quick chat. Before I knew it, I was rigged up with a microphone, the cameras were set up and we were good to go. It was lovely to talk about the importance of reading for pleasure and libraries, as well as explaining what’s happened on my writing journey. The time flew by and before I knew it we had finished.
The interview featured as part of the evening show on the same day. It was also added to YouTube and there is a link below if you’d like to watch it.
Thank you to That’s Lancashire TV for inviting me along and being so lovely. It was a fantastic experience and definitely one that I won’t forget any time soon.
